Here is a great praise to God report (see photo).. It's from a teen whom attends a Lighthouse Mission youth program who attended the "Word of Life summer camp" this past week.

Thank you Jesus! As many of you may have read earlier in the week: Lighthouse Mission was blessed to be able to bring 40+ children to "Word of Life Bible camp" upstate New York. However at the last moment we lost our bus and had no means of getting home.. So Pastor Jim and his team prayed & God used many of you through your offerings to make it possible for us to get a bus ride home!!! The children are so excited and blessed.

Perhaps when you think of summer you remember back two days at the beach, barbecues, etc. sadly for many of the children that Lighthouse Mission ministers to their young lives are very difficult.. Walking several miles in the sun to wait with their parents on line during lighthouse Mission Street outreaches hoping for a bag or two bags of groceries. Lighthouse Mission understands many of these children don't have nutritious lunch during the summer so we have implemented a lunch program at each street outreach. It's a place where children can sit down at a table and enjoy a nutritious lunch. Games, balloons, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and best of all simple lessons about the love of Jesus are all included. It may not seem like much but to these poor children and families it means the world.
Thank you to everyone who donate their time and finances to make this ministry happen.

It is a wonderful blessing from God to be able to bring 40+ kids to "Word of Life bible camp" upstate NY. Listening to kids run, laugh, play & have fun is music to my ears as some have so little to laugh about because of their very difficult lives.
Very best of all they are learning about the love of Jesus & many are giving their hearts to Jesus. - please keep praying for these kids as we continue to try and raise funds to pay for our bus ride home.

The lines each day at the Lighthouse Mission street outreaches have been getting longer & longer. The people & their children who are coming for food & prayer have been inviting Jesus into their lives like we have never seen before. "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.." - Jesus

Here we go. On our way to "Word of life Bible camp " upstate New York!
Some of these children have very difficult lives. Drugs, gangs, extreme poverty, violence, neglect, etc are a very real part of their lives and a trip like this would be impossible for them to go. But as Jesus says "..with God all things are possible..". Thank you to everyone whom God has used to make this trip possible.

Please keep these children and your prayer as many may give their lives to Jesus this week and put their faith & trust in Jesus alone.

We also ask that you would pray to the God of the Bible that He will provide a way to raise the remaining $1500 needed to pay for the bus to bring these dear children home.

This week we are very excited to be bringing 40 teens to "Word of life Bible camp" we know this is going to be a life changing experience as these underprivileged teens meet Jesus. Unfortunately the bus that will pick them up has become unavailable. We are now trusting in the Lord to help us raise $2000 to cover this last minute cost of transportation. What a blessing it has been to have church groups and orgnizations help sponsor Lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches. They have collect & hand out food, brought face paint, goodies, kites, balloons, chalk etc. to play with the children who come with their parents for food. prayed with hurting & hungry people, etc

Investing time with some amazing teens from the community surrounding the Lighthouse Mission on a friends wonderful yacht. Teaching teens team work, self confidence, the importance of the LI sound, how to sail -- but very best of all learning about Jesus & the wonderful plan that God has for their lives- no matter what their life circumstances might be.
