Perhaps when you think of summer you remember back two days at the beach, barbecues, etc. sadly for many of the children that Lighthouse Mission ministers to their young lives are very difficult.. Walking several miles in the sun to wait with their parents on line during lighthouse Mission Street outreaches hoping for a bag or two bags of groceries. Lighthouse Mission understands many of these children don't have nutritious lunch during the summer so we have implemented a lunch program at each street outreach. It's a place where children can sit down at a table and enjoy a nutritious lunch. Games, balloons, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and best of all simple lessons about the love of Jesus are all included. It may not seem like much but to these poor children and families it means the world.
