It's amazing how many people came to Lighthouse Mission street outreaches for food today- literally hundreds & hundreds. Please consider being a monthly Financial partner so we can continue to share the Gospel of Jesus & feed the poor. 

The lines of hurting Long Islanders that come each day at lighthouse mission daily street outreaches are getting so long that a person returning home from a trip who was flying above in a plane sent us an email & said that he saw one of our street outreaches while in the air ... Maybe we should paint a scripture verse on the top of our box trucks for those flying over - John 14:6 ;-)

During a street outreach a man wearing an American flag as a cape began cursing and insulting people peacefully waiting on line for food. Then he began to harass a woman & her children by video taping & insulting them.. Moments later the man grabbed the woman & volunteers quickly stopped him & contacted the police... Even after all that people still made decisions to follow Jesus.. Whoever said ministry was boring? We need to pray for this poor troubled man.

Hello faithful friends, we are planning a big free (everything is always free here) children's event here at the lighthouse Mission to kick off all of our exciting summer events & we are in need of a bounce house. Does anyone know someone who can help? possibly with a reduced rental? donation? etc. God bless you!

Hundreds of woman, children & elderly people lined up today in the rain today at our street outreaches to hear the Gospel of Jesus & receive much needed food. Please pray for the Lighthouse Mission as the need keeps climbing higher & higher while our donations go down & down..

The lines of people waiting for food today at the Lighthouse Missions daily food outreaches are longer then usual & we should have ran out. But God expanded the loaves & fishes & hundreds & hundreds were blessed with food & the Word of God. — with Centereach Bible Church atLighthouse Mission Coram Weekly Food Outreach.

It's really sad to see the American flag flying above a line of just regular people- hungry Americans waiting patiently at a daily- non-government funded (because we are Christian) Lighthouse Mission food street outreach in hope of gettinga bag much needed groceries for their families.... Sadly, when you remove God from our schools, government, work places, families, lives, etc... (3000+ people this week alone at Lighthouse outreaches) -- This is what happens.

Today the lighthouse mission will be sharing the Gospel of Jesus & feeding the poor in bellport, Shirley & port jefferson station.. If your invested in helping load the trucks, hand out food or just be available to pray for someone - come on down. Why does the Lighthouse Mission work so hard on its children & youth programs? because of days like today: a teen hung himself in the back yard of his home - right down the block from our HQ. Or perhaps yesterday: another teen shot himself in the face with a shotgun... please pray for us this evening as Pastor Mike (Lighthouse Mission's youth pastor) goes to the high school tonight to speak, pray & bring the comforting words of Jesus at a school vigil for the teen.

What a blessing to be able to put a nice & full bag of groceries into the hands of 65+ children to take home to their families during lighthouse missions weekly "Kids Club". Sadly, many have written in our prayer book to pray for food. Thank you to everyone who helped collect food for these dear children. God bless you!

Would you consider collecting some food for Lighthouse Mission's free weekly Children's Program? Sadly, many of the children who attend live in extreme poverty. Their families simply do not have enough food to eat. This week along with all of the crazy fun bible lessons, pizza lunch, games, etc. that we do at the "Kids Club" we are praying that each child will be able to take home a bag packed full of fresh groceries. Things we need? Peanut butter & Jelly, Cereals, granola bars, etc. -- "True & Lasting worship of God the Father is to help the widows & orphans in need & to not be corrupted by the world" - James 1:27

During a daily lighthouse Mission street outreach I went to collect our "Free Food" sign when I noticed this small child playing under it - his mom was waiting on-line for food. As monthly donations get less & less- please pray that the Lighthouse Mission will be able to continue to meet the weekly needs of more than 3000+ people each week.

At the end of the month the number of people attending lighthouse mission's street outreaches skyrockets. It's hard to see so many people in need, so much suffering. However, what brings me comfort is the blessing of knowing that thousands each week get to meet Jesus. Thank you to all of you who faithfully give of your time & finances to make this amazing ministry happen each day.
