Here is an interesting question posted about the Lighthouse Mission.. The funny thing is as I was sharing a message to people waiting on line for food about loving the people who persecute you (words of Jesus) a police car pulled up behind 

me & the officer got out... so I paused & led the crowd of 100+ people in a prayer for the people who want us to stop sharing the Gospel of Jesus & feeding the poor in Port Jefferson station. please pray for us.. - Pastor Jim

LIGHTHOUSE MISSION GETS BOOTED: After 4 years of giving out food and clothing once a week at a Park & Ride in Port Jefferson Station, the DOT has sent a letter to the Lighthouse Mission asking them to cease operations! What do you think about the DOT's request? Do you feel it is fair?
