Lots of hurting people at the Lighthouse Missions weekly street outreaches today. Join us in prayer that God will provide us with enough food & workers to meet tomorrow's need in Riverhead & Patchogue.

PLEASE HELP! The lines of hurting Long Islanders waiting on line for food at Lighthouse Mission street outreaches are the longest we have seen in 20 years. We need food, supplies, Bibles to give to people who have lost everything & have no hope & people who are willing to help hand out food & pray with those who are scared, lost hope & NEED JESUS.

Today the Lighthouse will be bringing food, supplies and the Word of God to Shirley / Mastic area as well as Port Jefferson Station - two areas that were hit hard by the storm. Please pray as we go to these communities that we will have enough food & volunteer missionaries to help serve the people. Want to collect food & help hand it out? Please help.. We need food, funds & people willing to hand out the food but most importantly be available to pray with folks who are hurting & don't know Jesus personally. It blows my mind to hear CHRISTians investing into organizations tha

t want only to feed people "bread" & want nothing to do with feeding people the Bread of Life (Jesus).. So if you plan to partner with us please understand that yes we also give food freely to people with no questions asked - it will only last a family of 4 for three days. But & most importantly we also offer the Bread of Life (Jesus) that WILL last them a life time & then some :-)

So the Red Cross comes into the Mission today asking us for help... (Yes, the guys with the white Military trucks with the red crosses). They were amazed with how many people we are able to help with no funding. I reminded them that we are 

not Government funded as they are - and that God provides for us & He is feeding the people not us.... So we will be helping the Red Cross reach people & of course telling those people about Jesus :-)
