What a blessing to be able to host a "Gun Buy" program at the Lighthouse Mission today. Lots of illegal hand guns taken off the street. Had wonderful opportunities to share the gospel of Jesus with lots of hurting and scared people. This is a great victory for the Kingdom of God & dent in the devils kingdom.

What may seem like a simple lunch of a hamburger, fries, juice box and an apple to most people but to many of the children who attend the Lighthouse Missions "Kids Club" it will be their ONLY meal they will have for the day. We often think of hungry & homeless children living in other countries but sadly its right here on long Island- right in your own back yards.
Will you financially partner with the Lighthouse Mission to help reach these children with more than just food- the gospel of Jesus?
If you are not partnering with us because you think your church is a monthly supporter, you might want to ask them directly, or text us and we will be able to tell you who is a partner church & who is not. The answer may suprise you.
"So you see, faith by itself isn't enough. Unless it produces good deeds, it is dead and useless." - James 2:17

What a blessing to learn about so many exciting and exotic animals that God created at the Lighthouse Missions "Kids Club".. Monkeys, Falcons, Crocodile, Snakes and even a Kangaroo! This was a huge event for these little guys. Remember, many of the kids that attend the children programs at the mission are homeless & under-privileged and therefore events like this are a true blessing. Thank you to everyone whom God uses to make programs like this possible.

Here is a POV (point of view) photo of me preaching the Word of God with a bullhorn at a Lighthouse Mission street outreach yesterday. The line was so long it would not fit in the photo. Lighthouse is NOT about giving out food and clothes it's about telling people the good news of Jesus. The food, cloths, etc. are just a byproduct of Gods love for the people. - Pastor Jim
Having a hard day? Want to smile? Check out this video of children who attend Lighthouse Missions "Kids Club" laughing.. Sadly for many they have very little to laugh about. They have such hard lives at such a young age that Lighthouse "Kids Club" is the only safe place they can go- its the only place they can feel the love of Jesus. Thank you to those monthly supporters who make programs like these possible.

What a blessing to be a part of a team of missionaries that is able to place food into the hands of hundreds of people today at Lighthouse Missions daily street outreaches - but more importantly share the gospel of Jesus with countless people. Please consider praying about joining us at a street outreach, at a youth program or monthly supporter.

Have you ever read the book of Acts chapter 1 in the bible? It describes the early church.. That description looks nothing like what most of us experience today when we "go to church". Want to get a glimpse of a church without any walls?, without any weekly collections? That is so dangerous that local villages & towns threaten to arrest Pastor Jim for sharing "the Word of God" & feeding the poor? Where gang leaders literally offer money to have Pastor killed because his team are showing teens with the word of God to leave that lifestyle & now they follow Jesus (his jeep has a bullet hole to prove it), a ministry so dangerous that the very gates of Hell can not stand against it. Pray and ask God if He wants you to join the Lighthouse Mission as they share the gospel of Jesus & feed the poor every day & if He wants you financially supporting it - a ministry that is making a huge dent in the Devils kingdom every day here in Long Island. Listen to a short clip someone posted of pastor Craig share the gospel of Jesus at Saturdays outreach.
People have been lined up for hours before we even start today to hear the Word of God and receive food at a Lighthouse Mission street outreach in Patchogue today. When was the last time you saw people lining up hours early to get inside church? God has been doing such amazing work during all of the outreaches. People are giving themselves to Jesus like I have never seen before. As many of you know, I have ministered in churches and have pastored churches for many years but I have never seen so many people make a decision to follow Jesus inside a church as I do outside the church during Lighthouse Mission street outreaches. God is on the move! Come and see for yourself. These are exciting times to be a follower of Jesus. - Pastor Jim
What does a Lighthouse Mission street outreach look like in the winter? What can you expect to see? Cold & hungry people- many elderly many just children. The gospel of Jesus is shared in both Word & deed. Coats are put onto freezing people & food generously offered. It's the kingdom of God on the move each day right here on Long Island. Would you consider supporting us?
Pastor Mike and Blaise are teaching some of our teens about the Armor of God using a sword made of cardboard & duct tape. For many of these teens life can be really hard. Gangs, drugs, violence, poverty are just a part of their day. Lighthouse gives these amazing teens the biblical weapons found in the bible to overcome their difficult lives- so many are giving their lives to Jesus. Thank you to those who invest in Lighthouse Mission to make programs like this possible. You are storing your treasure in heaven!
Would you believe that God is reaching more then 145 children & teens each week through our youth programs. We are seeing lives changed. Kids quitting gangs, doing well in school, but best of all learning about Jesus. Want to get involved, roll up your sleeves and become the hands of Jesus? We need your time, talents & treasure.

The Lighthouse Mission is not a very large place. In fact, everything is on wheels so we can utilize our space in different ways each day of the week. Basketball, bible studies, worship services, food distribution, tutoring, teen & children's center are just a few ways we use it for the Kingdom of God each week. What a waste of space for some centers of worship to only use their "sanctuary" once or twice a week for only a few hours. At Lighthouse- we are wearing the place out for Jesus. Come & check it out. It's exciting to see God at work in the lives of so many.

VIDEO: As I was handing out hats & gloves & praying for people who were quietly waiting on a Lighthouse Mission street outreach food line - a car screached up to me and the people inside of the car began shouting that I should not be helping "these people" because they make their town look bad by waiting on Lighthouse Mission food lines each week. "You should be ashamed of yourself! Let the govenrnment help them & send everyone home." Then they said something about them being "Christian" then drove away. I never had a chance to say anything.... how sad that was for me. Not because they yelled at me (it happens all of the time) but the idea that they might say they follow Jesus & have such hate in their heart. How could they possibly know who Jesus is? - Pastor Jim "Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life residing in him." - 1 John 3:15
