Hundreds & hundreds came out for food today. Many elderly. & crippled. Many have no food at all after the storm & could not find any place open to help them. God heard their cry and responded with the Lighthouse Mission to be able to meet this massive need. Best if all- Dozens received Jesus into their lives today!

People receiving food & cloths at Lighthouse Mission street outreaches today. 25+ people invited Jesus into their heart- all while waiting for food! Come & join us at a street outreach. We could sure use some immediate help at Lighthouse Mission Riverhead, Patchogue & Central Islip outreache locations.
It's incredible how long the lines of people waiting for food at the Lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches are getting.. However, its amazing to watch 25+ people give their lives to Jesus while standing on a food line. I have watched God countless times use anything to bring people into a personal relationship with His son Jesus. Please consider praying for us & collecting food.

It is very common for children & parents to ask us for new shoes. Sadly, we don't usually have anything to offer. Here is a photo of a little girls shoes at a street outreach. It's her only pair & had a hole in the bottom of the left one. E
ven though I told her I was sorry that I did not have a pair to give her, she was so happy with the little cross I gave to her. Please pray that the Lighthouse will be able to meet the growing needs here on Long Island. I'm getting tired of telling people that we can't help them..
Lighthouse Missions free one to one tutoring program ASPIRE is going to start Thursday. The local public schools are excited & kids are signing up (yup, we are Christian & yup they will learn about Jesus). Want to sign up your children (reg

At the end of the Lighthouse Missions youth programs its never a happy time having to bring back the children to the surrounding homeless shelters knowing that we may never see them again- as many families are forced to leave, move to other
shelters, etc. However, what does give us peace is knowing that we have shown them the love of Jesus, prayed over them & shared with them & many of their families the good news of Jesus. Please pray for all of the families in the shelter system here on Long Island- There are so many in need.
Here is Pastor Jim today teaching the children from Lighthouse Missions "Kids Club" program about inviting Jesus into their lives using a big donated pumpkin.. Sadly, some of the children had never heard about the saving good news of Jesus... What a blessing to be the hands of Jesus to these little ones. Want to get plugged into what God is doing at His Lighthouse Mission?- give us a call
I know this bike rack installed at the Lighthouse Mission may not seem like a big deal but I am so excited & happy that the teens will have a safe place to leave their bikes during our youth programs. Best of all God heard & answered our prayers through all of you who helped make this possible... I can't wait to see what God is going to do next!
We are very excited to kick off Lighthouse Missions "Kids Club" tomorrow. Kids grades K-5th can come & play crazy games, make crafts, have lunch, get toys & best if all learn about Jesus & it all & always free... Tomorrow All the kids will have McDonalds for lunch & get to take home their own pumpkin from Jesus...

You might expect to see children get excited about a bag of food in a far away- third world country. Sadly Lighthouse Mission missionaries see this sort of thing every day.. Right here on Long Island! There are so many in need that its only by the grace of God that we meet this rapidly growing need. Thank the Lord that the hope that we bring to each of the 3000 people each week is the love & good news of Jesus.

Here is a vintage photo of Pastor Jim in front of the old Lighthouse Missions' building. People would line 1/4 mile down the block to get food on Fridays. Back then God fed just a few hundred each week - now He is feeding more then 3000 through His LIghthouse Mission. (BTW: check out what Pastor jim's says)

Lighthouse missions Inglasia la MiSion church (lighthouse missions spanish church) had a great time hosting a $1.00 car wash. Everyone who came got hot dogs & hamburgers, kids played games, got prizes, bibles & after the car was washed we prayed for the people. When they offered to pay the dollar we refused and GAVE THEM $1.00- it opened a door for many to hear the amazing news of Jesus :-)
What a blessing to have kids from the neighborhood come to the Lighthouse Mission to play a spontaneous game of basket ball in our court yard. They are making Pastor Mike really work hard for a basket :-) ... "Let the children to come me and don't stop them for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those such as these" - Jesus
