Our Lighthouse Mission outreach truck pulled into the parking lot at our Central Islip outreach location and we found just about 200 people waiting on line for food! (We only had enough for 120) .. By the grace of God- everyone walked away with the gospel of Jesus on their heart & bags of much needed food. It was a real loaves & fishes thing :-)
It was great so see so many of Lighthouse Missions volunteer Missionaries at our HQ in Bellport today. Thank you for faithfully serving thousands of people each weeks on the streets of Long island at our quarterly street outreach meeting. God bless you faithful soldiers. See ya' at a Lighthouse Mission daily street outreach.

We were blessed today to discover that one of our trucks had SLASHED TIRES!.. Why are we blessed? Because we must be really angering Satan for him to keep sending his demons to try & stop us.. It's going to take more then a few tires to stop us from sharing the Gospel of Jesus & feeding the poor..

Even in a major downpour of rain- Lighthouse Mission volunteer missionaries handed out food to the literally hundreds of hurting people that also stood in the rain to get a few bags of groceries & an encouraging word from God.. To think tha
t ministries like the Lighthouse Mission that operate on a shoe-string "budget" of only donations while the political parties rake in 100+ million ea. month of campaign money makes me fall to my knees & thank God for what he can do with so little- its a real miracle.

The lines of people standing at Lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches for food are getting longer then they have ever been in 20 years! A local news paper asked Pastor Jim if he was worried that the lighthouse would Not be able to mee
t the growing need since we work on donations & that donations have been way down. Pastor Jim simply replied " absolutely not, God has never let us down" - the reporter just laughed and walked away

This was the last week of the Lighthouse missions summer youth lunch program. Where hundreds of children were able to sit at a table and enjoy a nutritious lunch at each daily street outreach while their parents waited on line to receive food. Please pray for these children as most will be returning to school this upcoming week.
