post signatureGod held back the rain this morning & Lighthouse Mission was able to give food & share Jesus with hundreds & hundreds of people at our Shirley & Bellport locations.
post signatureJesus teaches us to pray for our daily bread. Oils you please join us as we pray for God to provide a way to put fuel in Lighthouse Mission outreach trucks ($400 each week) & food to meet the growing need here on Long Island..
post signatureOur Lighthouse Mission outreach truck pulled into the parking lot at our Central Islip outreach location and we found just about 200 people waiting on line for food! (We only had enough for 120) .. By the grace of God- everyone walked away with the gospel of Jesus on their heart & bags of much needed food. It was a real loaves & fishes thing :-)

post signatureIt was great so see so many of Lighthouse Missions volunteer Missionaries at our HQ in Bellport today. Thank you for faithfully serving thousands of people each weeks on the streets of Long island at our quarterly street outreach meeting. God bless you faithful soldiers. See ya' at a Lighthouse Mission daily street outreach.

post signatureThe lines of people waiting for food were so long today at Lighthouse Missions Riverhead & Patchogue street outreaches that I could not even see the end. Please pray that we will have enough volunteers & food to meet this need. " the harvest is plentiful but the workers are few" - Jesus

post signatureWe were blessed today to discover that one of our trucks had SLASHED TIRES!.. Why are we blessed? Because we must be really angering Satan for him to keep sending his demons to try & stop us.. It's going to take more then a few tires to stop us from sharing the Gospel of Jesus & feeding the poor..

"For you have been given not only the privilege of trusting in Christ but also the privilege of suffering for him." - Phil 1:29
The lines for hurting & hungry long islanders are so long I could hardly see the end if this one at one of today's Lighthouse Mission street outreaches.. Thank the Lord we has enough food to meet the need - however, I'm not so sure about tomorrow.. Please join us in pray for tomorrows daily bread.

post signatureExcited to be able to provide 75 underprivileged children with a good nutritious lunch & best of all to learn about the wonderful plan God has for their lives no matter how poor, hungry or where they are living- God loves them.

We have been praying at the Lighthouse Mission for a new location to have another weekly street outreach.. Any suggestions of an area that is in need & not too close to any of our other 10 locations?

The lines of people standing at Lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches for food are getting longer then they have ever been in 20 years! A local news paper asked Pastor Jim if he was worried that the lighthouse would Not be able to mee
t the growing need since we work on donations & that donations have been way down. Pastor Jim simply replied " absolutely not, God has never let us down" - the reporter just laughed and walked away
"..the Gospel is foolishness to those who are perishing" - Jesus
This was the last week of the Lighthouse missions summer youth lunch program. Where hundreds of children were able to sit at a table and enjoy a nutritious lunch at each daily street outreach while their parents waited on line to receive food. Please pray for these children as most will be returning to school this upcoming week.
