Sadly, we see more then 3000+ people each week that come to the lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches for food, cloths, etc. Many of them have children. These are just regular people who struggle to get from pay check to paycheck- many unemployed for the first time. So we try to bless them with the basics including many free programs for their children. Please keep hurting Long Island families in your prayers. If you want to get connected with the lighthouse mission to help hand out food at one of our 10 locations or with any of our youth programs- give us a call. We could use all of the help we can get.www.lighthouseMission.net -- God bless you!

The Lighthouse Mission was on the news today speaking about the poverty rate of children on Long Island that is now over 8% .. How sad is that? Right here in our own back yard- the good news is that the Lighthouse Mission is able to share Jesus & feed more then 3000 people each week. -- With God ALL things are possible..., check out the video

What an amazing blessing it was today to provide poor underprivileged children a free (everything is always free) wacky-fun-water day at the Lighthouse Missions HQ. water slides, water cannons, races were all included but best of all they all got to learn about the love of Jesus & see it in action through the hands of Lighthouse Missions volunteer missionaries. Thank you Jesus!

On my way to a Lighthouse Mission street outreach i was listening to the news report on the many millions the presidential candidates get donated to them simply to campaign just saddened me. Each night I'm on my knees begging God for food & funds to feed hungry people, keep kids off the streets & away from gangs, etc.. I wonder if they would still spend money like that if they saw hungry LI people waiting on lines like this each week?

Even in the rain hundreds of people came to the Lighthouse Missions daily street outreaches seeking food. You know people are hurting if they are willing to stand in the rain or blazing heat to get a few bags of groceries.. The great news is that everyone was blessed with food & best of all the Gospel of Jesus.
What a blessing to partner with our friends at Briarcliff college in Patchogue. We were able to take 20 under- privileged & homeless children to a good ol' Long Island Ducks game. All the kids received hot dogs, drinks & other goodies. Thank you Briarcliff for helping us be the hands of Jesus to so many children on long island

It's real hot & local long island people who are waiting on line for food at lighthouse mission street outreaches need water.. We are just about out of water. Will YOU help?
It's been really hot outside for people waiting on food lines at Lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches... We are running very low on water to give to those waiting in the sun.. Can you or your organization help be the hands of Jesus by getting a few cases of water?

Lighthouse Mission Is excited to be able to provide nutritious lunches to children of people who attend our street outreaches for food (and best of all the Gospel of Jesus in a way they can understand it) Sadly, many of these children go without lunch in the summer because they normally receive lunch in school because their parents are too poor or sick to be able to provide it.. Want to sponsor a child right here on Long Island (yes, in America) for lunch? Any amount would be a blessing.

Blessed to pick up a bus full of wonderful children from local homeless shelters to teach them about Gods creation of marine life at Fire Island for a free program. Everyone was blessed & tired including the Lighthouse team of missionaries. Want to help or donate $$ or your time to help make more programs like this happen? Drop us a line- we would love to tell you how to get connected.

What a blessing to be able to watch young people from local Lighthouse Mission partner churches join us as we share the Gospel of Jesus & feed the poor - right here on Long Island. Perhaps your church would like to become a partner church with the Lighthouse Mission as well

Here is a link for the latest article about Pastor Jim & the Lighthouse Mission breaking the law Sharing Jesus & feeding people.. What they are not saying is that they don't want to see hurting residents standing on line for food in the same parking lot that our government is about to spend 7 million dollars to build a walking trail. Jesus says pray for those who persecute us-- will you join us in that prayer for them? - also, keep that bail money close- Pastor Jim may need it soon ;-)

Having fun with Grace church of Smithtown as we partnered to share the Gospel of Jesus & feed the poor. Balloon animals & bubbles made the children of the people waiting on line for food laugh & dance.. Many gave their lives to Jesus today. Praise God!

Homeless children laughing while exploring Gods creation while on a free Lighthouse Mission Adventure led by Kids club director Andrea & other Lighthouse Mission missionaries: a priceless blessing from the Lord
Lighthouse Missionaries were blessed to pick up 30 kids from local homeless shelters & take them to Fire Island to learn about Gods created marine life.. Everyone got water shoes, t-shirts lunch & a canvas bag for treasures -- best of all learning about Jesus.

Having a blessed time being the hands of Jesus in Bellport, Port Jefferson station & Shirley by sharing the Gospel of Jesus & feeding the poor (with live music). Come on down & join us- no training necessary :-)

What a great time we had taking several Lighthouse Mission buses full of teenagers on our second free canoe trip (water shoes, lunch, etc. included) Parents are always thankful that everything that the Lighthouse Mission does it free. YMCA,boys & girls clubs & now churches are charging for VBS (vacation bible school) that struggling families are unable to send their kids any place because they can't afford it. Thanks to those who help make Lighthouse Mission the bright light of Jesus... Next trip: Thursday: Fire Island adventure (shoes, shirt, lunch, back-pack, bus & ferry all included & from Jesus!)

Pastor Jim having fun sharing the Gospel of Jesus & feeding the poor. After he preached a message, the children in the crowd ran over to him to tell him bible verses they memorized. Then we blew bubbles & gave away balloons... Next week we will set up tables & start offering children lunch while their parents wait on line for food
What a blessing to be able to take 27 local underprivileged children canoeing for an afternoon filled with adventure (many came from local homeless shelters) Parents were so grateful for all of the things that the Lighthouse is doing over the summer because everything we do is free & best of all the kids get to learn about Jesus... Want to help be the hands of jesus with any of our youth programs? Drop us a line..
