I'm very excited to tell you that through generous donors God was able to bless the single mother & her 3 sweet children who were forced to sleep on the floor with brand new beds, bedding & food. Pastor Jim & his team of missionaries were able to deliver the beds, set them up all while sharing the Gospel & love of Jesus with this little family. - When the world says its NOT possible God says - all things ARE possible with my Son Jesus the Christ.

What a blessing to be the hands of Jesus to this sweet little girl by giving her and her two brothers new beds. Thank you everyone who answered the call to be used by God to help lighthouse mission get these beds, bedding, food and best of all the opportunity to tell them about the amazing news of Jesus.
It was great to see more then 60 of Lighthouse Mission's street outreach volunteers get together today at the Lighthouse Mission's HQ for lunch, fellowship & worship. God is doing some amazing things through His mission. I can't wait to see what He is going to do next!
Pastor Jim's plan is to deliver the 3 beds & bedding to 3 young children who are sleeping on the floor today. We ordered the beds in faith but don't have all of the $$ yet.. In this photo you can see the place in the dark corner of the floor where the other two children are sleeping... Will you help us bring the light of Jesus into the lives of this little family? - God bless you.

I visited with a sweet single mom struggling to raise 3 children: 6, 10 & 13 yr. old.. Forced to leave a shelter & are sleeping on the floor. This is a photo of where the 6 yr. old sleeps. They called everywhere for help & no one can. Sooooo I'm excited to say this is where we can come in as the hands & feet of Jesus. We already ordered new the beds for the children but don't have all of the funds. Can you help with the cost? When God says move- lets jump! --- Who's in?
It was a blessing to have Detective Bob visit with the Lighthouse Mission's Kids Club on Saturday. Kids got a chance to try on a real bullet proof vest & learn that the police are their friends not enemies. Sadly, many of the children who come to the Mission are taught just the opposite. Gang influences, drugs, violence, & extreme poverty are real parts of their lives. Pastor Jim & his team of missionaries teaches them that with Jesus in their life all things are possible & their lives can be entirely different. Please pray for these little guys.
Today a 10yr. old boy came to the Lighthouse Missions Kids Club - his shoes we're held together with scotch-tape. You could see his toes. Thankfully a volunteer quickly went & got a new pair of socks & sneakers. We are seeing more & more of this. Please consider financially supporting the Lighthouse Mission monthly so we can continue to share the Gospel of Jesus & feed the poor here on Long Island.
Blessed to participate in the Brookhaven clean up project. We set up a hot dog cart, soft drinks & snacks. We gave away more then 250+ hot dogs. The best part was that everyone got to hear the Gospel of Jesus & more then a dozen made a decision for Jesus!! - Praise God!
Getting ready for Saturdays FREE children's program at the Lighthouse Mission / ages k-4th / 11:00am-1:00pm -- crazy fun games, prizes, pizza lunch & best of all -- learning about Jesus! -- Come & be blessed.

Most of the people who attend daily Lighthouse Mission street outreaches are regular people who are just struggling to get from paycheck to paycheck. However, some are truly homeless with many problems such as alcohol, drugs, & mental illness. Our goal is, of course, to help these people with food, clothes but most importantly the Gospel of Jesus- so their lives can be changed. Then help them get plugged into a Christian program that can continue to minister & help them. Sadly, this poor homeless veteran that Pastor Jim is praying for in this photo would not let Pastor Jim help him get into a Christian recovery program & he later died of alcohol poisoning on the side of a busy road. Sadly this happens way to often. "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few" - Jesus
Please pray for food & clothes for the Lighthouse Mission to offer the hundreds of families that come to the Lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches for help & get to hear the amazing gospel of Jesus.
During a lighthouse mission daily street outreach I witnessed a sweet little girl put groceries into another child's empty bag who was part of a family who is in need of food - then I heard the little girl tell the other child "Do you know Jesus loves you"? .. The lighthouse mission is so much more then feeding thousands each week - its ALL about Jesus.
Blessed to be sharing the Gospel of Jesus & feeding the poor with a great group of volunteers from Lambs Chapel church... Giving balloons to little kids, blowing bubbles - what a fun way to tell people about Jesus - pastor jim.
As hard as it is to see so many hurting families lining up each day for food at Lighthouse Mission street outreaches, I am so thankful to be able to share the incredible good news of Jesus with each one.

If you were a little kid waiting on a lighthouse mission food line outside in the cold for an hour with your mother, would you be this happy to receive a small bag of food? God bless these poor people.
While waiting on line for food with his mom at a lighthouse mission daily street outreach - this little guy was so thankful for the cookies lighthouse mission gave his family last week that he got us a special gift that he picked himself- a bouquet of dandelions. God bless him.
Many children are off from school this week so Lighthouse Missionaries & volunteers take advantage of this time to share the gospel & love of Jesus with many of the children waiting on lines at Lighthouse Mission daily street outreaches. Look at this little guy in the photo- after giving him a balloon Pastor Jim was blessed to lead his mother to the Lord.
Lots of people attending our street outreaches today in Coram & Lake Ronkonkoma. So many people asking for prayer- wanting to know Jesus. This is why the Lighthouse Mission is here "to share the Gospel of Jesus & feed the poor".

We were blessed to be able to share the love of Jesus with 140+ under-privileged children with "Resurrection Baskets" filled with goodies & scripture. God bless all of you who helped contribute to this wonderful outreach.
How far will the Lighthouse Mission & it's volunteers go to share the Gospel of Jesus? Well, here is Pastor Jim as Jesus & volunteer Dave Painter as the Easter bunny at the Lighthouse Missions free weekly childrens program explaining that Easter is ALL about Jesus, and NOT the Easter bunny.
Pastor Jim having fun giving out balloons to children who were waiting on line with their parents at a lighthouse mission street outreach. What a blessing to share the love of Jesus with the little children with a simple balloon.
What a blessing to be able to share the gospel of Jesus & feed hundreds of people today at the Lighthouse Mission street outreaches. It was great to have Grace Gospel church help us minister. In this photo you can see the parents waiting on line for food while volunteers played games with their children, gave out candy & balloons! Praise God!
What a beautiful day to be sharing the gospel & love of Jesus & to feed the poor at Lighthouse mission's street outreaches. So many children are home from school waiting on line for food with their parents... Tomorrow, I think I'll pray for some balloons to give to the children. - Pastor Jim
During a daily street outreach a village "police" person comes over to Pastor Jim and asked him "what authority to you have to be here giving out food"? Pastor Jim replied "I myself have none. However the one who sent me has all the authority".. " oh yeah, who's that"? " I'm glad you asked" said Pastor Jim and he explained "God, Lord of Lord, King of Kings, creator of heaven & earth, etc"- then he shared the Gospel of Jesus with the police person. :-)
So I was praying about needing food for our street outreaches where we share the Gospel of Jesus & feed the poor & God answered my prayer by filling up an entire mission box truck with food from Grace Gospel Church in Patchogue & Grace Church in Smithtown.. Thank you Jesus!!

Hundreds of people have come out today in Coram & Lake Ronkonkoma in need of food, clothes & the Word of God... We need bibles to give out to people waiting on line. Can you help?

With all of the lottery buzz going on: Do you remember a few years ago when someone offered the Lighthouse mission some lottery winnings? Well someone posted one of the many videos about Pastor Jim turning it down on youtube & People are still posting comments. Check them out if you have a moment (be careful some are offensive). BTW: because of Pastor Jim turning down the $$ hundreds & hundreds of people made a decision to follow Jesus from all over the world & God provided for HIS Lighthouse Mission more then the NYS lottery ever could have.
